Special Representative of Ukraine discusses topical issues of Transnistrian conflict settlement in Chisinau

Valeriy Zhovtenko, Special Representative of Ukraine for Transnistrian conflict settlement, held a meeting in Chisinau with Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Steve Young, German Ambassador to Moldova Ulrike-Maria Knotz and Head of the EU delegation Pirkka Tapiola.
It has been reported by an Ukrinform correspondent from Moldova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian conflict settlement, supporting efforts of the Moldovan leadership to enhance a dialogue with Transnistria in all formats.
The parties expressed readiness to participate in the next round of negotiations in 5+2 format (Moldova, Transnistria, Russia, Ukraine, OSCE, EU and USA), which was scheduled for early April.
