Moscow reacts to Poroshenko's words on willingness to exchange Savchenko

Spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has responded to the statement made by the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko when he officially announced Kyiv’s readiness to exchange Nadiya Savchenko.

"We have certainly taken note of yesterday's statement made by the president of Ukraine, I am not ready to say more. I can also say that we have also noted Savchenko attorney’s statement today, in which he stated that the defendant halted her hunger strike. And once again we would like to remind you that the court hearing is under way," Peskov said.
