Ukrainians in Australia call for Savchenko release

The Union of Ukrainian Organizations in Australia calls on the Ukrainian community of the country to support the world protest action in support of Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The board of the Union of Ukrainian Organizations in Australia will join the protest action on Mach 9,” Chairman of the Union, Stefan Romaniv, wrote on his Facebook page.
In addition, the Ukrainian community in Australia plans to send the letter with a request to support Savchenko release to the government of Australia, the Australian departments of Amnesty International, National Council of Women, and Australian Women's Pilots Association.
The Union also supports the #FREESAVCHENKO flashmob in social networks and calls on the Ukrainian organizations across Australia to hold protest actions in their cities in support of Savchenko release.
