Mironchik: Belarus retains visa-free access for Ukrainian citizens

Citizens of Ukraine and Belarus can still travel freely between the two countries without needing a visa.

Belarusian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Dmitry Mironchik told Interfax-West.

“Visa-free trips between Belarus and Ukraine under the current agreement are retained,” Mironchik said.

"However, taking into account that the agreement hasn’t envisaged such a document as ID-card for the Belarusian side, it has been offered that special consultations on this issue with the Ukrainian counterparts will be held,” the Belarusian foreign ministry spokesman said.
