Kolchenko brought to jail number 6 in Kopeysk city, Chelyabinsk region

The Ukrainian political prisoner Oleksandr Kolchenko was delivered to the penal colony number 6 located in the city Kopeysk, the Chelyabinsk region, Russia where he will serve his sentence.

Radio Liberty reports citing a confirmation issued by the colony authorities.

"Kolchenko’s attorney Svetlana Sidorkina intends to visit the Crimean activist in a week," when Sasha settles down and it will be clear what he will need there," a statement said.

Earlier, Oleksandr Kolchenko and Oleh Sentsov had been placed in pre-trial jail number 3 of Chelyabinsk city. Sentsov confirmed that he will be dispatched from there to Yakutia, the republic in Russia’s North, to serve his prison term.
