Batkivschyna officially leaves coalition

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman at today’s plenary session has announced about the withdrawal of Batkivschyna Faction from the ruling parliamentary coalition.
“According to the received information, I’m informing about unanimous decision taken at a general meeting of the United Batkivschyna Faction on the withdrawal from the ‘European Ukraine’ coalition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation,” Groysman said, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He noted that he received a letter signed by Yulia Tymoshenko about leaving the coalition and statement on the rescission of signatures to the coalition agreement of all 18 members of the Batkivschyna Faction.
