Cabinet of Ministers considers SFS reform one of its achievements

Reform of the State Fiscal Service (SFS), which started in the second half of 2015, allowed approving new structure of the SFS Central Office, re-staff the SFS and streamline its operations.

This is stated in the report "On progress and results of the Program of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" published on Government’s Portal.

"New structure of the SFS Central Office formed in accordance with the functional principle was approved, which have optimized the work of the SFS and made it possible to reduce staff; staff of the SFS Central Office was refurbished; the number of tax inspections in Ukraine was reduced from 311 to 161 (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 04.11.2015 № 892)," the report reads.

According to the document, the first phase of the SFS reform allowed to reduce administrative burden on the taxpayers and start the transition to service-based communication with taxpayers, which in future will promote the increase in the level of tax culture.
