Lutsenko: Court’s ruling on Azarov is objective peculiarity of Ukraine’s law enforcement system

Ukrinform
Leader of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP), Yuriy Lutsenko has stated that a ruling by the European Court of Justice that repeals sanctions against Viktor Yanukovych-era government officials, former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, MP Oleksiy Azarov, MP Serhiy Klyuyev and former Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky, is the objective peculiarity of Ukraine's law enforcement system.

“For me, it is very unpleasant news. Unfortunately, this ruling by the European Court is unbiased, it is a characteristic of activities of Ukraine’s law enforcement system,” Lutsenko told reporters in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As earlier reported, the European Court noted that a letter from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine didn’t contain any specific information on the charges brought against the above-mentioned five officials.
