Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov states that Russia has not violated the Budapest Memorandum

He said this at an annual press conference in Moscow, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Lavrov, “The Budapest Memorandum includes only one requirement: not to use nuclear weapon against Ukraine. Nobody did this and nobody threaten to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine”.

As a reminder, the Budapest Memorandum, one of signatory countries of which is Russia, says about “respect for independence, sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine”.
