In Kyiv since the start of epidemic season, 18 died of flu

Since the beginning of epidemic season in Kyiv, a total of 18 people have died from aftereffects of influenza, of whom 11 persons - over the last week, the main department of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service in the city of Kyiv reports.
“Since the beginning of the epidemic season, 18 people have died from aftereffects (pneumonia) of influenza, of whom 11 people died over the last week,” reads a report.
As a reminder, over the period from January 18 to January 24, 2016, some 35, 193 ill people were registered, which is by 24.5% higher the previous week (26,559 ill people).
