About 43% of Ukrainians are against early parliamentary elections. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko shares this position.

The Head of State said this in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels, aired on Sunday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I have the same view as the Ukrainian people. The majority of the Ukrainian people - 43% - are categorically against early elections," Poroshenko said, commenting on his attitude to the "ghost of early parliamentary elections."

The President pointed out that three elections had been held in Ukraine over past 18 months and he did not understand what mandate should be given by Ukrainians to the MPs "for them to start work finally."
