Symonenko appeals against ban on Communist Party of Ukraine

It is stipulated in the appeal lodged by the party, the text of which is available to Ukrinform.

"To cancel the ruling by Kyiv Circuit Administrative Court as of December 16, 2015 in case No.826/15408/15 at the suit filed by the Justice Ministry of Ukraine on the termination of activities of the Communist Party of Ukraine. To approve a new decision in the case and to reject the claim filed by the Justice Ministry of Ukraine against to the Communist Party of Ukraine, the third person – the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights on the termination of activities of a political party,” according to the Communist Party’s appeal.

As a reminder, Kyiv Circuit Administrative Court considered case No.826/15408/15 at the suit filed by the Justice Ministry of Ukraine against the Communist Party of Ukraine.

On December 16, the court upheld an appeal from the Justice Ministry of Ukraine and terminated the activities of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
