Savur-Mohyla full of killed terrorists, destroyed armored vehicles

KYIV, July 29 /Ukrinform/. The Ukrainian military successfully repulsed all counterattacks of Russian mercenaries near the height of Savur-Mohyla, destroying more than 100 militants, 10 armored vehicles and 12 artillery systems.

Spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defence Council Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"There is fighting in Pervomaisk-Alchevsk direction and control is being established over the Marynivka corridor. Just in the last days terrorists repeatedly counterattacked Savur-Mohyla, taken by the Ukrainian military. They are trying to return the height from which they permanently fired at ATO positions," Lysenko said.

Lysenko added said that the Ukrainian military successfully repulsed all counterattacks.

"In the end, more than 100 fighters have been killed, 10 armored vehicles and 12 artillery units destroyed," he said.
