KYIV, March 30 /UKRINFORM/. The 11th congress of the party Batkivshchyna began at the Teacher's House in Kyiv on Friday.
143 delegates are taking part in the congress. First deputy chairman of Batkivshchyna Oleksandr Turchynov, first deputy chairman of the BYuT-Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction Serhiy Sobolev, as well as Front for Change leader Arseniy Yatseniuk and People's Rukh leader Borys Tarasiuk, are present at the congress.
According to Turchynov, the congress is also attended by representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and public organizations.
A large poster with the portrait of Yulia Tymoshenko and a banner with the inscription Will to Ukraine! are placed above the presidium table.
