Members of European Parliament and representatives of diplomatic missions visit Donbas today

Members of the European Parliament Petras Auštrevičius, Anna Fotyga and representatives of diplomatic missions together with Ukrainian MPs will visit eastern Ukraine on Friday, June 23.
An Ukrinform correspondent learned this from the Department of Information and Domestic Policy of the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration.
"On June 23, 2017, First Vice Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko together with Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Mariya Ionova, MEPs Petras Auštrevičius, Anna Fotyga and representatives of diplomatic missions will be on a working visit to the east of Ukraine," reads a report.
The representatives of the European Parliament will be informed about the tense security, humanitarian and environmental situation in the east of Ukraine, they will examine the work of entry/exit checkpoints, destroyed objects of Donbas and their renewal.
