Ukraine-EU Association Agreement enters into force on September 1

He noted this during the first day of his working visit to Washington, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I am flying from Washington to Brussels to take part in the transfer of ratification certificates signed by His Majesty the King of the Netherlands. This is the last country that completes the ratification process. And since September 1 Ukraine has the great honor with the Association Agreement entering into force," the Head of the Ukrainian state said.

As Ukrinform reported, the President of Ukraine on June 19 began a visit to the United States, during which he met with the top leaders of the countries.
