Full implementation of Ukraine-EU Association Agreement to start in September – Mingarelli

Full implementation of the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union will begin in September 2017.
EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said this to journalists in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The process of ratification is almost completed by all 28 countries that are members of the EU. On September 1, in a few weeks, the Association Agreement will reach the stage of its implementation. We hope that the implementation of the provisions of this agreement will also contribute to new economic and business ties and ties in other fields," Mingarelli said.
As Ukrinform reported, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union was adopted in 2014.
The Netherlands in May completed the ratification of the Association Agreement, becoming the last EU country to ratify the document.
