Jens Stoltenberg: NATO continues to strengthen partnership with Ukraine

The North Atlantic Alliance continues to strengthen its partnership with Ukraine, providing practical assistance.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this following a meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government in Brussels on Thursday, own Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“It was clearly stated by many allies - we are going to continue to strengthen our close partnership with Ukraine to provide practical support,” he said.
Stoltenberg also stressed that NATO contributes to the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
He also noted that NATO does not want a confrontation with Russia and will continue the policy of strengthening the defensive response to the actions of Russia, but at the same time, leaving the opportunity for dialog.
