Donald Tusk: It seems that EU and US ‘on the same line’ about the conflict in Ukraine

The European Union and the United States share common position about Russia’s role in the settlement of the conflict in western Ukraine.
President of the European Council Donald Tusk said this after a meeting with US President Donald Trump in Brussels on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“I’m not 100 percent sure that we can say today -- we meaning President Trump and myself -- that we have a common position, common opinion about Russia. Although, when it comes to the conflict in Ukraine it seems that we were on the same line,” he said.
According to Donald Tusk, the most important thing is that the sides share common fundamental western values.
