Merkel calls for Normandy Four meeting

German Chancellor Angela Merkel summons French President Emmanuel Macron, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko for the meeting.

"We will urgently seek opportunities for the four heads of state and government – the three presidents and I – to meet," Merkel said.
As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko noted the importance of holding a meeting with the German Chancellor on the eve of the G7 Summit, where the issue of Ukraine will be on agenda.
In addition, the situation in Ukraine is expected to be discussed during the G20 meeting.
