Tillerson calls Ukraine a reliable partner at UN Security Council

He expressed such an assessment during the meeting with Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko on Friday, Ukrinform learnt from the press service of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations.

"Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko had a brief conversation with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who stressed that Ukraine is a reliable partner of the United States at the UN Security Council," spokesman for the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations Oleh Nikolenko said.

"In turn, Volodymyr Yelchenko thanked Rex Tillerson for the continued solidarity of the United States with Ukraine, primarily at the UN Security Council," Nikolenko added.
