Migration Service: Over 3 million biometric passports issued to Ukrainians

Chairman of the State Migration Service Maksym Sokoliuk says that over 3 million biometric foreign passports have been issued to Ukrainian citizens.
“According to the statistics, today at 9 a.m., over 3 million documents [biometric passports] have been issued by the Migration Service, and 145 thousand – by foreign establishments. The total number of issued biometric passports is 3, 240, 705,” he said.
According to him, it is planned to issue 2 million more biometric passports for traveling abroad in 2017.
