Canada-Ukraine FTA is response to Russian aggression – Poroshenko

The Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement is important as the response to Russian hybrid aggression and as the evidence of transatlantic unity and solidarity.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this in his commentary on the ratification of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement, published on the website of the Head of State.
"The ratification is very important as the response to the Russian hybrid aggression, which today threatens not only Ukraine, but the EU countries, Canada and the entire free world. It is extremely important as the evidence of our unbreakable transatlantic unity and solidarity," the President said.
Poroshenko stressed that the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement with Canada is the recognition of Ukraine's progress on the path of reforms.
