Mejlis Chairman Chubarov: Ukraine should be firm, persistent to return Crimea
Ukrainian MP, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov said this at the international forum "Crimea under occupation: Consequences for Ukraine and the world", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Crimea should be returned to Ukraine, primarily, by diplomatic, political, and economic means. However, Ukraine should incite our partners to implementation of such strategy make it successful," Chubarov said.
According to him, "we need to be clearer and rigidly persistent in some moments... We can not always take the direction offered by our partners."
As reported, February 25-26, Kyiv hosts the international forum "Crimea under occupation: Consequences for Ukraine and the world."
February 26, Ukraine will mark the Day of Resistance to Occupation of Crimea.
