Joint statement by Biden and Poroshenko: Sanctions against Russia must stay until Minsk agreements fully implemented

Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden has said that the U.S. together with its partners from the EU and G7 believed sanctions against Russia must remain until Russia fully implements its commitments within the Minsk agreements.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said this after a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The U.S. Vice President emphasizes that sanctions related to the annexation of Crimea must remain in force until Russia controls the peninsula.
