Christmas marathon of writing letters to Ukrainian political prisoners starts in Kyiv

"It is very important for all of us to support not only prisoners but also their families. Every soldier must know that the country supports him, and he will not be abandoned to his fate," former political prisoner Hennadiy Afanasyev said, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Everyone interested can send letters to Ukrainian political prisoners, including Ukrinform journalist Roman Sushchenko, within the framework of this marathon till January 13. Photos of letters can be sent to lmpg.ukraine@gmail.com.

The project was launched by Initiative group Euromaidan SOS and partners within LetMyPeopleGo campaign.
