Fire breaks out at ammunition depot in Russia’s Belgorod region

A fire has broken out at an ammunition depot in Russia’s Belgorod region.

Region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in a Telegram post, according to Radio Svoboda.

"An ammunition depot has caught fire near the village of Timonovo in Valuysky district. According to the latest data, there are no casualties. The head of the district has evacuated residents of Timonovo and Soloti villages to a safe distance," he wrote in a Telegram post.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Local Telegram channels publish videos of the fire. Radio Svoboda cannot verify the authenticity of the published video.
