About 30,000 displaced people from Donbas want to move to the EU – UN

Five European countries have received 29,895 applications for a permanent residence permit from displaced people from Donbas since the war in the east of Ukraine started.

According to the UN Refugee Agency, 9,616 people wanted to move to Germany, 9,319 – to Italy, 4,278 – to Poland, 3,459 – to France, and 3,148 – to Sweden.

A total of 427,240 Ukrainians wanted to leave from the ATO zone for Russia, and Ukraine granted asylum to 1.583,759 internally displaced persons.
