The Ukrainian Consulate in the Russian Federation has performed all necessary procedural requirements for granting permission to meet with Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko, but it still has not received any response from the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
This has been said by official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Mariana Betsa.
"We have already met all procedural requirements, but at the moment there is no reaction and no permission," she said.
She stated that the Foreign Ministry required to provide an immediate access to Roman Sushchenko and will continue to pressure at the consular level and to achieve this by political and diplomatic means with help of international partners and consolidation of international support.
