Number of supporters of Ukraine’s membership in EU grows after Eurovision 2017

More than half (51%) of foreign guests, who visited Ukraine to attend the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, noted that the country met their expectations, while 47% admitted it even exceeded all their expectations.
This is evidenced by the results of the sociological poll, which was conducted by the GfK Ukraine company at the commission of the Institute of World Policy, UA: Pershy reports.
Director of the Institute of World Policy (IWP) Olena Hetmanchuk noted that visiting Ukraine to attend the Eurovision significantly changed the foreign guests’ perception of the country. In particular, the Eurovision attracted more supporters of Ukraine’s future membership in the European Union: 64% of the EU citizens noted that now they want to see Ukraine as a part of the European family (read more…)
