The events on the occasion of the opening of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv were held without violation of public order.

The National Police of Ukraine informed this on Twitter.

"The events on the occasion of the opening of Eurovision 2017 were held without violation of public order," the report said.

The department also reported on the resumption of traffic movement in the central part of the capital.

As reported, In Kyiv, the official opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was held in the Parkovy Exhibition and Congress Centre on Sunday evening.

The Eurovision semifinals will be held on May 9 and 11 and the final - on May 13.
