Six people injured in major traffic accident in Vinnytsia

Preliminary findings indicate that the collision involved two trucks—a Scania and a DAF with a semi-trailer—a Skoda SUV, a Volkswagen, a Hyundai crossover, a Peugeot Boxer, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus.
As a result of the accident, the 44-year-old driver of the Skoda and a 36-year-old female passenger in the Hyundai sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
Two female passengers in the Volkswagen, aged 49 and 59, as well as the 55-year-old driver of the Hyundai and his 30-year-old female passenger, were taken to the hospital but refused admission.
Blood samples were taken from the drivers for forensic toxicological analysis.
The police have opened a criminal case regarding the accident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation rules by persons driving vehicles).
As previously reported, a person was killed and six others, including two children, were injured in a traffic accident involving three passenger cars and a truck that occurred on June 4 on the bypass road in Vinnytsia.
