Almost 2,600 high-rise buildings in Kyiv were left without heating after a combined Russian missile and drone attack on the night of Thursday, February 12.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko reported this on Telegram.

According to him, as a result of damage to critical infrastructure targeted by the Russians, high-rise buildings on both the left and right banks of the capital, in particular in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts, were left without heating.

Utility workers are already working to restore heat supply to these buildings.

As the mayor recalled, more than 1,100 high-rise buildings in the Desnianskyi and Darnytskyi districts are also without heating after the recent shelling. Due to critical damage to the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant, it is impossible to supply heat to the area.
