State Emergency Service refutes news about mass poisoning with unknown substance in Poltava region

According to updated information from doctors, these are cases of carbon monoxide poisoning.
As emphasized by the State Emergency Service, the reasons for deterioration in people's well-being can vary and are determined only after appropriate checks and laboratory tests at medical institutions.
Rescuers urged people to rely solely on official reports from the Ministry of Health, the State Emergency Service, and regional military administrations to avoid spreading panic and misinformation.
As reported by Ukrinform, the bodies of three people were found in a house in the village of Machukhy, Poltava district, and the circumstances of their deaths are being investigated. The caller reported a gas smell in the room.
Initial investigations established that the deceased were three residents: two men aged 45 and 37, and a 22-year-old woman.
