Body found under rubble of building destroyed in explosion in Lviv region

In the village of Duliby, in the Stryi district of the Lviv region, a man was found dead under the rubble of a destroyed building during recovery work, while three other people were injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

“Today, February 6, at 17:53, rescuers received a report of an explosion in the village of Duliby, Stryi district, which destroyed a two-story building,” the statement reads.

During the dismantling of the destroyed building, rescuers found a man without signs of life under the rubble.

Three people were injured as a result of the explosion and were hospitalized.

“Rescuers from the Lviv region State Emergency Service, the canine unit of the Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center ‘Lviv,’ and law enforcement officers are working at the scene,” the rescuers added.

Recovery and search operations are ongoing.

Earlier reports indicated that the explosion occurred in the office building of a transport company in Duliby, and three people were initially reported injured.
