“No oil waste pollution was detected in the Black Sea and on the sandy areas of the Langeron, Vidrada, Delfin, and Arcadia beaches, as well as on the territory of the 15th and 16th stations of the Big Fountain and near the YUG restaurant,” the report said.

The city council added that only small scattered spots remain on the water in the area of the Inclusive Beach (11th station of Velykyi Fontan). Separate traces of oil are still being recorded on Santorini Beach, where boom barriers have been installed. No dead birds were found over the weekend.

As reported by Ukrinform, oily stains were detected in the Black Sea waters within the Odesa region as a result of enemy attacks on port infrastructure, which caused a leak of sunflower oil.
