About 17,600 houses flooded in Hola Prystan community

About 17,600 private houses, 76 apartment blocks, and 18 cultural and educational institutions have been flooded in the Russian-occupied Hola Prystan community, Kherson region, following the Kakhovka HPP dam explosion.

"According to preliminary estimates, about 17,600 private households (houses) in Hola Prystan community (including summer cottages and gardening societies) have been affected by the occupiers' explosion at the Kakhovka HPP dam," the Hola Prystan Town Military Administration posted on Telegram.

Moreover, 76 apartment blocks and 18 cultural and educational institutions, which were in the flood area, were affected by the water.

As reported, the water outflow situation generally stabilizes in the Russian-occupied Hola Prystan community of Kherson region. However, there is practically no signal and no electricity and gas supply in the flooded settlements.

In Kherson region, 46 cities, towns, and villages remain under water – 32 on the right bank and 14 on the left bank. The water keeps receding, the rescue operation is underway.

The Russian army blew up the Kakhovka HPP dam on the night of June 6.
