In Kyiv region, man hospitalized after grenade fuse explosion

A resident of the village of Trebukhiv in the Brovary district was hospitalized with an injury to his left hand after a grenade fuse exploded in his hands.

That’s according to the head of the Kyiv Region Police Department Andrii Nebytov, who reported the accident on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"A 46-year-old resident of the village of Trebukhiv, Brovayr district, picked up an explosive object, pulled out the safety ring, and then the explosion occurred," he wrote.

According to Nebytov, the man is currently in a hospital, being treated for an injury to his left hand. The police are establishing the circumstances of the accident.

"Remember, in case of detection of explosives, projectiles, grenades, mines, do not touch dangerous objects, notify the emergency services, do not approach the find and do not let anyone near it," Nebitov emphasized.
