Three Ukrainians injured in bus accident in Egypt

Three Ukrainian citizens have been injured in a tourist bus accident on the Sharm El-Sheikh-Cairo highway in Egypt, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko has said.

"A tourist bus was involved in a road accident on the Sharm El-Sheikh-Cairo highway. Currently, we know that three Ukrainian citizens were injured. They have been hospitalized," Nikolenko wrote on Twitter.

He said that Ukrainian consuls in Egypt were in contact with local authorities to provide consular assistance to Ukrainians and clarify all the circumstances of the accident.

Earlier media reports said that the accident occurred at about 09:00 Kyiv time on Friday, February 19. There were up to 60 passengers on the bus.
