Over 350 towns and villages in seven Ukrainian regions left without electricity

Adverse weather conditions have left 358 towns and villages in seven regions of Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"As of 7:00 on January 29, bad weather conditions (rain and snow mixed, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 358 settlements in seven regions, in particular: Mykolaiv region – 140, Odesa region – 133, Kirovohrad region – 38, Dnipropetrovsk region – 19, Zaporizhzhia region – 17, Kherson region – 6, and Kyiv region – 5,” the report reads.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have been involved in the restoration of power supply.
