Indonesian police have found the bodies of a Ukrainian couple in Bali, according to Coconuts Bali.

"Police have reportedly launched an investigation to find out the cause of death of two Ukrainian nationals, whose bodies were found in Kedonganan sub-district of Badung regency last night," the report said.

According to reports, the bodies were sprayed with disinfectants before they were transported with an ambulance to Sanglah General Hospital.

Denpasar Police Chief Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that the deceased were evacuated with COVID-19 protocols as a precaution.

"For the time being we have not found any indication of violence," Jansen said.

Police were alerted to the situation after the apartment staff noticed that they had not left their room for a whole day. After they managed to open the room the two victims were lying on the floor and lifeless.
