Over 250 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Monday morning, February 24, some 251 populated areas in seven regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.
“Bad weather conditions (squall, snow and rain mixed) caused blackouts in 251 populated areas in seven regions, in particular: Lviv region – 70 populated areas, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 69, Ternopil region – 65, Volyn region – 23, Chernivtsi region – 12, Zhytomyr region – 11, and Rivne region – 1,” reads the report.
Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in the restoration of power supply.
