Some 600 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

As of Thursday morning, February 6, some 600 populated areas in 13 regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.
“Bad weather conditions (strong wind, snow and rain mixed) caused blackouts in some 600 populated areas in 13 regions, in particular: Odesa region – 137 populated areas, Dnipropetrovsk region – 120, Kherson region – 87, Mykolaiv region – 59, Kirovohrad region – 57, Donetsk region – 34, Poltava region – 27, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 26, Zaporizhzhia region – 19, Chernivtsi region – 19, Cherkasy region – 8, Zhytomyr region – 4, and Zakarpattia region – 3,” reads the report.
Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in the restoration of power supply.
