Over 3,000 people died in road accidents in Ukraine this year

In January-November 2019, over 3,000 people died in road traffic accidents in Ukraine.

First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department of Ukraine’s National Police Oleksiy Biloshytskyi stated this at a briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“Almost 144,500 road accidents occurred in the country over 11 months of the current. 29,000 people were injured, 3,080 died,” he said.

Biloshytskyi emphasized the importance of observance of traffic rules so that to change such a statistics.
