No Ukrainians among those killed in Greece storm – consulate

Ukrainian citizens were not injured or killed in a freak storm in northern Greece on July 10, which claimed the lives of seven people, the Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki has stated.

"According to the competent authorities of Greece and local hospitals, there was no information on Ukrainian citizens killed or injured in this disaster," the report says.

As reported, seven people, including six tourists, were killed in a violent storm that swept across a region of northern Greece on Wednesday night.

A state of emergency has been declared, with dozens of rescue workers dispatched to help.
