Ukraine’s Emergency Service warns of avalanche risk in Carpathians

On April 17, significant avalanche danger is expected in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.
“Considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in the mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk region due to heavy precipitation,” the report says.
