Emergency Service warns of avalanche risk in Carpathians

On March 4-5, significant avalanche danger is expected in the mountainous areas of Zakarpattia region, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
“According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts, on March 4-5, considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in the mountainous areas of Zakarpattia region due to thawing weather,” reads the report.
