Ukrainians warned of avalanche risk in Carpathians

On December 20, a significant avalanche danger is expected in the Carpathian mountains due to snowstorms.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.
“On December 20, a considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk region and the eastern part of Zakarpattia region,” the report reads.
