Bad weather causes blackouts in 85 populated areas in two regions

Adverse weather conditions have left 85 populated areas without electricity in Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions, the State Emergency Service reports.
“On the night of November 26 to 27, bad weather conditions (rain, wet snow, gusts) caused blackouts in 85 populated areas in two regions, namely: 46 populated areas – in Ternopil region, 39 populated areas – in Chernivtsi region,” reads the report.
Emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply, the State Emergency Service added.
