Poroshenko signs decree on humanitarian aid to Indonesia

President Petro Poroshenko has ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to organize and send humanitarian aid to those suffered from the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia, the president’s press service reports.
“According to Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On Humanitarian Aid", I decree: to render humanitarian aid to the Republic of Indonesia; the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall ensure the provision of humanitarian aid the Republic of Indonesia," reads the report
As reported, Indonesia was struck by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake on September 28. Powerful tremors caused a devastating tsunami, the height of the waves during which was 3-5 meters.
